Implementation of the “Help the Saplings Grow” Program
—— Shanxing Public Welfare, in collaboration with its Director Unit Huachuan Die-Casting, completed the 2026 Poverty-Alleviation Student Aid Action
To thoroughly implement the 2026 “Poverty-Alleviation Student Aid” work plan issued by the Dujiangyan Municipal Committee for the Care of the Next Generation and the Municipal Communist Youth League Committee, and to give full play to the professional coordinating role of public-welfare organizations, on August 20 the Dujiangyan Shanxing Social Public Welfare Service Center, relying on the charitable resources of its Director Unit, Dujiangyan Huachuan Die-Casting Co., Ltd., successfully completed the disbursement of this year’s student-aid grants, and by drawing on its professional student-aid system refined over more than a decade, secured a firm educational foundation for local students.
As a local public-welfare organization that has worked deeply in the student-aid field in Dujiangyan for more than ten years, Shanxing Public Welfare has consistently upheld its working principle of “home visits and screening, precise matching, and whole-process follow-up.” In this activity, Huachuan Die-Casting precisely matched eight beneficiary students covering the full span of educational stages: one sixth-grader from Paotongshu Primary School; two students — a seventh-grader from Puyang Middle School and a ninth-grader from Chongyi Middle School; three students — an eighth-grader from Liujie Middle School, a second-year senior-high student from Bayi Juyuan High School, and a senior-year (grade 12) student from Yucai High School; and two students — a first-year senior-high student from Dujiangyan High School and a third-year (junior) student from Suining Vocational College of Energy. The grants followed stage-differentiated care standards: 3,000 yuan per year for each primary and secondary school student, and 4,000 yuan per year for each university student, amounting to a total disbursement of 28,000 yuan for the year.
As of 2026, through its collaboration with Director Unit Huachuan Die-Casting, Shanxing Public Welfare has cumulatively raised and disbursed more than 300,000 yuan in charitable student-aid funds. Over the past decade and more, it has built a stable educational ladder for Dujiangyan students stretching from primary school to university. All student-aid funds are made public and transparent throughout the process and delivered directly to students’ accounts under a real-name system, ensuring that every bit of generosity reaches its intended target precisely.
This student-aid action is the flagship implementation project of Shanxing Public Welfare’s “Help the Saplings Grow” public-welfare program. It not only fully activated the local charitable resources of its Director Unit, Huachuan Die-Casting, but also, through the professional service capacity that the public-welfare organization has accumulated over more than a decade, transformed scattered acts of kindness into systematic support services, putting the philosophy of “empowering through education” into concrete practice. Moving forward, Shanxing Public Welfare will continue to tap the resources of charitable enterprises in its jurisdiction, work with the Huachuan Committee for the Care of the Next Generation to explore more diversified models of student-aid support, keep polishing its locally rooted student-aid public-welfare brand built over more than a decade, and steadily inject solid and reliable public-welfare strength into Dujiangyan’s work for the care of the next generation.
